Caballos de Castilla - Ecuesturis a company with more than twenty-five years of experience in contact with horses and nature. Our instructors have worked for many years as equestrian teachers, and a few others practicing this equestrian sport. Our facilities are located in the town of Covarrubias, a perfect place for horseback riding trips located in the province of Burgos.

Our routes will be carried out near the Arlanza River, anchored in a riverside forest and a wonderful juniper forest, you will find yourself surrounded by a beautiful ecosystem, characteristic of the area, and a great variety of birds of prey (golden eagle, Bonelli's eagle, eagle owl, peregrine falcon, griffon vulture...). We will also pass through countless fantastic landscapes such as La Yecla and Mataviejas, the Estacada gorges or the Chasms of the Ermita and Millán. , among many others.

Below we will explain all the routes that you can do accompanied by our instructors, among them there is variation regarding the duration of the itineraries. Thanks to our variety you will be able to find the one that best suits your needs:

• Routes of 2 to 4 hours: We will ride horses through the vegetal areas of Fuente Doña Mari, La Gitana, Ermita Arganza, Virgen de la Vega, Puente de los Siete Ojos, Navaleno, Casarejos... a great variety of towns located in the vicinity of Covarrubias. You will learn the history of all these villages from our instructors.
• Routes of 1 to 2 days: With this route you can enjoy horseback riding and accommodation in our beautiful facilities in towns such as Cañón del Río Lobos, Valderrueda, Quitanar de la Sierra or Covaleda.
• *6-day routes: You will spend a week in full contact with nature, enjoying our completely trained horses, you will learn to take care of them, you will observe our stables. We will leave from Burgos passing through the Lobos River Canyon until we reach the Black Lagoon of the Neila River.

We also organize customized excursions and walks, if you want to celebrate your bachelor party, birthday, anniversary... or some special event, you can contact us and we will make the best route that meets all your needs.

*We have organized other week-long tour routes with accommodation in hotels or rural houses, on a half-board basis with 6 days on horseback, including food en route, a qualified guide instructor and a support vehicle in addition to Civil Liability Insurance.
