Turismo Guadix

Set on an almost desert plain and at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, Guadix is a unique Granada enclave with a very characteristic architecture of whitewashed houses excavated in the rock. At Guadix Tourism we have everything ready for you to come and see it as well as the surroundings of the Guadix plain.

Our tourism proposal is divided into two very different parts:

• Guided walking tours

• Guided tours by tourist train

Guided walking tours

We have two itineraries:

• Guided route through the historic center of Guadix and the caves: With this tour you will be able to see the Cathedral and the cathedral museum, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the old alcaicería and Jewish quarter and various palaces and churches of Guadix as well as the cave area with fantastic views of the valley. In total, about 3 hours of guided tour.

• Guided route through the Guadix region: We go to the Calahorra castle, the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, the Gorafe dolmens or the gullies of the Alhama river. A semi-desert landscape very curious to see.

We also offer guided tours of Guadix individually and tours of cave wineries with wine tastings.

Guided tourist train tours

If you prefer to see everything more comfortably without having to punish your feet in the slightest, you can get on our tourist train. In 1 hour you will see the entire old town, the caves, various viewpoints of the city, etc.

We can rent our trains for any special event.
