Palau Requesens

The Gothic quarter of Barcelona hides palaces typical of medieval times such as the Palau Requesens, the largest in Barcelona. In this Palau they offer you the possibility of taking a very complete guided tour.

These guided tours take place on Fridays and Saturdays starting at seven thirty in the afternoon. Currently the Palau is the headquarters of the Royal Academy and school of Good Letters.

During the visit you will be invited to a glass of cava in the central patio of the Palace. The guided tour will then take place and will end with a sword exhibition. During the exhibition there will be a very beautiful fight with swords that will transport you to 1391.

The Palau Requesens was built on one of the walls that surrounded Barcelona, in the Gothic quarter it becomes a must-see for lovers of the Middle Ages. You can climb the only tower of the old Roman wall.

This private mansion that belonged to the Requesens family will show you how people lived at that time and what the customs of Barcelona at that time and of its contemporaries were.

The activity includes a glass of cava or a fruit juice , some aperitif to accompany the glass and a complete visit with a guide through the Palau, also includes the sword show with fighting. The total duration of the activity is almost two hours.
