Cardona is one of the most beautiful municipalities in all of Catalonia due to its medieval constructions and an amazing natural environment that allows us to appreciate the richness of the flora and fauna of the region.

For this reason, at Cardona Turisme, we have proposed that you get to know it in a different way. We have prepared visits, some of them theatrical, to the main monuments of interest in the town as well as the landscapes that surround it. These excursions are adapted to different levels of difficulty but we also wanted to take into account the age of the participants so that the whole family can enjoy this experience to the fullest.

Some of the visits most requested by our users are:

• Visit to the Salt Mountain Natural Park: free walk through the mining facilities. The route consists of 500 galleries 86 meters deep. If you wish to hire a guide service or a dramatized visit, do not hesitate to contact our reservation center.

• Excursion to Cardona Castle:built in the 9th century by Wilfredo el Velloso. Its style is gothic and romantic. The Minyona tower, 15 meters high, stands out. Through the dramatized visit you will be able to learn the true history of this tower.

• Route through the natural environment of Cardona:a 2.4 km walk that can also be done Nordic walking. You will be able to enjoy nature in its purest form and one of the most beautiful panoramic views in the area: the Salt Mountain next to the castle in a natural setting.
