Shenington Gliding Club

We are happy to welcome everybody to Shenington Gliding Club!

No matter your level of experience, we have the gliding experience to suit you, if this is your first time we have fantastic trail sessions that will give you the opportunity of controlling the aircraft while leaving the important things, such as taking off and landing, to one of our professional pilots. Our you can book yourself onto a more comprehensive course that will see you gain the qualifications and skills you need in order fly up to the highest heights. We also run courses designed to update skills and help progress people who are already qualified pilots.

Our location is virtually free of airspace restrictions meaning our fleet of 25 aircraft will have near complete freedom in our site just 8 miles north west of Banbury.

Couples a speciality! - We have a maximum of 2 people to the instructor, so you can learn together and relax together at the end of a busy flying day in our licenced bar. 

We also have on-site bunkhouse accommodation which comprises 1 x Double Room, 1 x Single Room, 1 x Twin Bunk Room,  1 x 3 Singles Room
