A BGA-qualified pilot will greet you at the Bicester Airfield to open your session with a flight briefing. Your designated pilot will ensure you familiarise yourself with the aircraft before taking off. Then, you'll fly over the Oxfordshire skis, catching mesmerising views as you climb a height of up to 2,000ft! It's something you won't forget soon.
You'll be flying on a two-seat glider, where the instructor will demonstrate how to control the aircraft for you to manoeuvre it if you wish! We aim to deliver a relaxing experience where you only need to sit back and relax! Your experience will be approximately 20 minutes long. You'll receive a certificate of your flight signed by your pilot and enjoy some refreshments after your gliding adventure.
Please keep in mind gliding is a weather-dependent experience, so your experience might be rescheduled according to rain, fog or high wind conditions. The minimum age to participate is 12 years old. You must have a minimum height of 4ft 6in and a maximum weight of 16 stones. You must fit in a parachute!
