British Gliding Association

The British Gliding Association works in conjunction with dozens of gliding clubs across the UK. They maintain a directory of all these gliding clubs in the country. They also set training standards and publish the ¨Sailplane & Gliding¨ magazine. They offer vouchers for gliding training at any of their affiliated clubs.

The training course consists of:

• Last between half and full day
• 3 aero launched glider flights or 6 winches launched flights
• A BGA qualified instructor
• Preflight briefing
• Two seat glider

All these adventures are an awesome way to experience the full-adrenaline through the air sport, gliding. You will discover so many new things and explore whilst sightseeing just like having a bird´s eye. 

After completing your training, your voucher is good for a 3-month temporary membership at the club in which you complete your training. For those 3 months, you can fly at the club rates and decide if you want to join the club. We also provide a mini-course option, for those who would just like to get deeper in the introduction of the sport.
