British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association

The British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association works in conjunction with recreational clubs and schools across the UK. They set the pilot training standards in the country. They maintain a directory of the various affiliated schools at which one can fly or learn to fly. The schools often teach many different types of flying such as:

• Hang Gliding
• Paragliding
• Parascending
• Paramotoring
• Powered Hang Gliding

The BHGPA also has a program for the disabled to train them to become pilots and become a part of the sport. Through the British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association you can find a club need you were you can fly or learn to fly in the type of aircraft of your choice.
