Where to do a mushing route in Baqueira?

On one of our sledges, come and take in the splendour of the snow-covered woodlands of Pla de Beret, the Dossau Forest, the Senda de Osos, and the Montgarri Sanctuary with us. Anyhow, all routes depart from the Beret parking lot, where we'll meet to finalise the specifics and provide a briefing before leaving for this fun activity.

What options for dog sledding are there in Baqueira?

Sledging is one option among many. You may ride on them (an activity led by a skilled musher), or you can steer the sledge yourself by taking charge of the path. We also provide mushing and sledge manoeuvering courses for the latter choice.

When is the best time to do one of these excursions?

The best time of the year is during Christmas and winter. But this experience depends on the weather, the quantity of snow, and the animals. The animals require sufficient rest and replenishment between activities and are in top shape to ensure the success of the excursion. We kindly ask for your understanding and patience because it involves a lot of time for preparation and organisation.

Among the mushing options we offer, we recommend you try a typical lunch in the Aran Valley or a dinner. If you prefer the night plan at the Amigos de Montagarri Refuge, it is a fabulous option too. Replenishing your strength with an ox steak is always a good idea, isn't it?
