Discover what we have prepared in our facilities in the Toledo municipality of Val de Santo Domingo, less than 1 hour from Madrid. First, our monitors will accompany the students on a guided tour of the entire zoo. In this way, they will be able to learn about all the facilities and curiosities about the animals that live here. This visit lasts 1 hour and a half, enough time to get to know everything in depth.
Up to 150 species of animals live in our zoo. During the tour of the zoo, you will be able to discover hundreds of birds that live in our aviary, as well as different species of owls. Wild cats such as Canadian lynx and white oryx are also waiting for you. After the visit it will be time for the workshops at the Zoo Escuela. Our environmental educator will be in charge of giving very entertaining and interesting workshops.
In addition, you will have various materials available to work on both during the visit and later when you return to the schools. Children will get to know the animals, as well as their natural habitat and the plants that make up the biological park. They will learn the differences between wild and domestic animals and the responsibility that comes with caring for them. The workshop will last 1 hour and a half so that they become interested in the topic and understand everything about animal diversity.
