We are going to give traditional wine tourism a twist so that you can discover Basque cider and our gastronomy, in all its splendor.
We will visit an authentic sagardotegi (Basque cider house), to enjoy a traditional festival.
We leave from Bilbao, heading towards Astigarraga, where we will be welcomed with an extensive menu with which we are sure that no one will go hungry. We will eat:
- Cod omelette.
- Cod with peppers.
- Steak.
- For dessert, cheese, walnuts and quince.
Throughout the meal, there will be an unlimited supply of cider, which will also be poured Basque style: from kupelas (barrels), and not from the bottle. This is how it is done in authentic wineries!
Nowhere do you eat and drink like in the Basque Country. Come check it out!
