…And that’s what windsurfing is all about! Come down to Christchurch Harbour, whose open areas of flat water attract many windsurfers, and join us for a one-hour taster session.
People often assume that windsurfing is hard to get into, but our taster session will put paid to that idea. We supply modern equipment, including lightweight sails and wide boards, that makes this sport much more accessible. You’ll be up on your feet and riding before the end of the session!
As well as the equipment, our RYA-qualified instructors make this an unforgettable experience. They’ll also deliver a safety briefing at the water's edge before leading you onto the water and teaching you to harness the wind.
This session is for people who’ve never tried windsurfing before, and we know it will be enough to convince you to come back for classes with us. Best of all, children can take part from the age of just eight years old.
