20min discovery flight in an autogyro in Vielleségure

Come to our ULM base in Vielleségure, near Pau, for a breathtaking ULM adventure! During a discovery flight, our team shares with you its taste for aerial sensations as well as panoramic views of our Béarnais region.

Taking place aboard an ultra-light autogyro, thefirst flight takes place as follows:

• Our ground team will welcome you to the aerodrome and introduce you to the aircraft and the region you will be crossing. A briefing is required to explain the safety instructions to be followed on board as well as the operation of the equipmentthat will be given to you. Remember to arrive a little in advance of your flight schedule to complete this step.

• All you have to do is take flight in the company of a qualified pilot! Once in the air, you have an appointment with the natural and heritage jewels of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. From the Pau Castleto the Kakuetta Gorges, from the fortified city of Navarrenxto the snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees : sublime sites that will leave you amazed!

Taking you as close as possible to the picturesque villages of Béarn, the ULM autogyro is ideal for exploring the sky aboard an aircraft that is just as unusual >that dynamic. This ultralight is the perfect hybrid between the small helicopter and the small plane: it has a two-seater comfortable cockpit and is supported by a rotor. Its characteristics make it ideal for high altitude tourism as well as aerial photography, so don't forget your camera!

The magnificent Nouvelle-Aquitaine region brings together a significant diversity of landscapes through its location. Indeed, located in the south of France in the heart of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, you will have the opportunity to discover the sublime reliefs at 360°. A panorama made up of mountains, plains, rivers and vast forests, which offer a spectacular scene.

The route of this activity will allow you to pass by the essential places of the region, such as the valley of the Gave d'Oloron or the emblematic fortified city of Navarrenx. br />
The gyroplane with which you will be cradled in the air is a light aircraft which is a combination between the plane and the helicopter. It has a rotating wing which allows, in flight, a feeling of serenity and unparalleled lightness. The gyroplane is the safest ULM, because the rotations of its fins provide flexibility during elevation and landing.

You will be accompanied by our state qualified instructors who will inform you of the safety devices necessary for this activity.
The gyroplanes are checked frequently and maintained by us.

It is important to note that this activity is available to people over 14 years old and not exceeding 95 kilos.
