3 hours of group surf lessons on the Basque Coast

Want to try a fun and exciting new water sport? Surf on one of the most picturesque beaches in Hendaye, which is renowned for its exceptional locations.

Learn to surf in a three-hour group lesson that includes transportation, equipment and practice. Our Hendaye surf school is located onBoulevard du Général Leclerc.

Our state qualified teachers are very attentive to your needs and wish to share their enthusiasm for surfing by offering you an exceptional lesson, adapted to your abilities and in complete safety.

We provide you with the equipment (boards and wetsuits) for the duration of the sessions depending on your level, the waves and your size. We invite you to come and enjoy the pleasures of surfing on our magnificent beaches, whether you are young or old, novice or expert. Everyone is invited to join us.

Course delivery:

Participants will prepare for training at our leisure base in Hendaye.
Please allow time for briefings before each lesson and debriefings after each lesson.
On the beach, the instructor will lead a theoretical session in which he will explain fundamental surfing techniques, such as how to ride a wave and maintain balance.
Finally, at the end of each session, you will be able to give your opinion.

Good to know:

• Bring something to hydrate and protect yourself from the sun.
• Remember that no group will have more than 8 people.
• It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the class to set up your equipment.
• This offer includes transportation to and from the activity location by shuttle.

Our state-certified instructors are very attentive to your needs and want to share their passion for surfing with you by offering lessons adapted to your skills. Your shuttle awaits you at the Quiksilver store in Saint-Jean-de-Luz on Rue Léon Gambettato take you to surf on Hendaye. Other probable meeting places are Ciboure, Urrugne, and Socoa.

Apart from surfing, you can enjoy the enchantment of the Basque Country, its culture, its history and its varied landscapes. Whether you are young or old, novice or experienced, we encourage you to come and enjoy the pleasures of surfing on our beautiful beaches.
