From the age of 12, you can learn to surf with one of our professionals and take your skills to new levels on the beautiful Causeway Coast.

Based in Portrush, we offer private surf lessons for beginners and beyond to give them the best start in surfing with the complete attention of an ISA-qualified instructor who is passionate about seeing aspiring surfers grow in confidence and ability.

This is a unique opportunity to practise your skills, have fun and get some beneficial experience with the guidance of a professional who will supply you with a surfboard and wetsuit.

You will be surprised at how much you can learn in one hour with professional tuition; we will help you better understand the basic techniques and discover the best ways to read and catch unbroken waves. Depending on your grasp of specific skills and techniques, we can cater the session to work on particular manoeuvres that need more attention.

You can find us at East Strand Water Sports Centre, so there are plenty of stunning coastline views for you to enjoy from this prime surfing location, and we have unique access to changing facilities so you can have a warm shower after your session upon request.

This is your experience, so we’ll give you exactly what you want. You’ll choose the board size that you want, cover the techniques you need to improve, and have the instructor’s full attention.

It’s time to learn how to surf on the stunning Causeway Coast. And what could be better than a personalised surf lesson for two people?

Our surf school is in sunny Portrush, a place that’s seen thousands of people develop their skills and gain confidence on a surfboard. We welcome surfers and non-surfers alike from as young as 12 years old to learn with us.

Your surfing experience will include the tailored tuition of an ISA-qualified instructor, who’ll combine beach workshops and practice on the waves, and a surfboard and wetsuit in the price.

During this one-hour lesson, we’ll take advantage of the great waves of Portrush Beach in the best way possible to help you improve. Tell us if you have any specific requests, and we can work around them! We’re sorry to say that we can’t let anyone with a heart condition or who is pregnant participate.
