Deal overview
We will leave from Torla and head to the Monte Perdido massif, where the Three Sorores are located: Picos de Monte Perdido, Añisclo and Cilindro, three peaks over 3,000 meters. In fact, in this environment we find up to 22 peaks that exceed this height.
This is the program we will follow:
-Day 1: we welcome the participants at the Lucien Briet refuge, from 4:00 p.m. We will distribute the material and spend the night.
-Day 2: we go to the Sierra de la Custodia. We will climb the peak that gives its name to the mountain range and enjoy the excellent views before descending.
-Day 3: we go to the Otal Valley, to the Bujaruelo refuge. We will discover the impressive glacial valley of the Otal neck.
-Day 4: We arrive at Espierba and then we go to the Comodoto peak. It is one of the most impressive viewpoints of Monte Perdido.
-Day 5: We will go to Puerto Viejo, enjoying a beautiful ascent through the glacial valley. This route is the one taken by some of the people who went into exile during the Spanish Civil War.
Accommodation in the mountain refuges includes half board and you can optionally hire a picnic service to bring you food for the day.
You must come well equipped for these winter routes.
