Do you want to discover the Saint-Leu reef without a bottle and without changing the level? Equipped with a mask, snorkel and fins, you will swim on the surface above the depths of the Réunion marine nature reserve and observe the reef from above at your own pace.
We will take you to sites inaccessible from the coast. A state-certified instructor will provide supervision and safety for this snorkeling hike. He will tell you where to look and introduce you to the reef and the species encountered. If you don't swim much or if the fins bother you, we will provide you with a floating suit and the instructor will take a floating mattress with you throughout the trip in addition to his advice.
We cannot guarantee your sightings, as they vary depending on time of day, season and sea conditions. Tropical fish, corals, crustaceans and shellfish are the most common. Moray eels, octopuses and nudibranchs are seen less often, while turtles and rays remain rare. Cetaceans are even more so and no shark has ever been observed during our outings.
Good to know: the outing is accessible from 8 years old and all the equipment will be provided to you. If you come with friends registered for a baptism or a dive, we will do our best to bring you together on the same sea trip.

The schedule is agreed with us at the time of booking. The water fluctuates between 23 and 28 degrees depending on the season. If a strong swell, strong wind or current forces us to postpone the outing, we will offer you another date or a refund. The center is located away from the sea and you must therefore come by car.
