The theoretical part will be carried out outside the water, while the practical part will be carried out first in confined waters (e.g. swimming pool), then in the sea, then in open water.

This is a high degree in the diving profession and is a professionalizing stage in this career which is followed by the certification of Dive Control Specialist.
