This course is the Open Water Scuba Instructor part of the IDC qualification. We have decided to divide this certificate into courses because it is easier to complete for people who have little time or want to take advantage of it to accumulate experience under their belt. In order to complete this second part of the IDC you will have to have the PADI AI (Assistant Instructor), 60 recorded dives including night, navigation and deep diving and a CPR test updated less than 24 months ago.
The certification will be given in 6 days in Puerto Addaia you will review all the knowledge acquired so far, such as confined waters and open waters. Although you can start the course with 60 dives, it will be mandatory to accumulate 100 dives to obtain the certificate.
Once you complete the course you will demonstrate everything you learned in the exam. An external examiner will come to evaluate knowledge by checking both theory and practice. The exams will consist of the theory of diving procedures and rules. It will evaluate your in-water and rescue techniques. And to finish you will have to make a presentation in the classroom, in open water and in confined water.
