Open Water diving course La Herradura

The easiest way to start an activity is by signing up for a course. In diving it is essential to acquire basic knowledge to be able to go out with guarantees to explore the waters of any coast. In Malaga we open the doors of this wonderful sport to you with our Open Water course that we will teach for 1 week or 3 days. You choose!

Being the first level of diving, you will not need to have previous experience in diving. During the course we will teach theoretical and practical classes in which we will train you in all aspects of scuba diving: material, forms of immersion, how to dive, underwater signals, currents, etc. You will receive all this education from the hand of a professional and qualified instructor.

When the time comes to put into practice what you have learned in theory, the first thing you will do is try your movements and breathing with the oxygen cylinder on the La Herradura beach. For that, we will travel in one of our vehicles. In total there will be 4 dives in which you will adapt to the environment and will have the opportunity to get to know the Mediterranean seabed always accompanied by an instructor.

The maximum depth at which we will practice the dive will be 18 meters. A depth more than enough to find marine species such as octopuses, seahorses, starfish, anemones, etc. In addition, this area is very rich in corals, you will also enjoy its variety of colors!

It is a course that you can do individually or come in a group. Therefore, it is an ideal opportunity if you want to come accompanied by your group of friends (maximum 6 people). The course will enable you to dive in any area of the world.

Thanks to our official PADIAdvancedOpen Water Diver course, you can take another step in your diving training. We teach the course inLa Herradura and, once you have the qualification, you will be able to dive almost anywhere in the world at 30 meters deep.

We will provide you with all the necessary material during the course for both theory and practice. We will not perform exercises in confined water, since all dives take place directly in open water.

There will be 5 dives with their corresponding theoretical part, which you will have to work on. The last part of the course will consist of 5 open water dives, including deep and navigation dives, to put what you have learned into practice.

What you need to take the course is:

• Medical certificate, on an official form, stating that you have no contraindication for immersion.
• Two passport size photos.
• Towel and swimsuit.
• Open Water Diver Qualification or equivalent.
