Basic Freediving Full Day Introduction at Portrush

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to explore underwater? We can only say it's a breathtaking experience everyone should try at least once. Our basic freediving introduction course is the perfect plan as the first step into freediving. You can join us, whether you are a beginner or an intermediate looking to refresh the essential techniques. Our course won't disappoint you!

We run our sessions at Portrush, one of the most stunning areas of Northern Ireland. You encounter a rugged coastline, dramatic cliffs and raging ocean like any other place. Having a freediving course will take your experience to the top. We will provide a personal approach around your needs and ability level.

Our staff will supply all the equipment before your session. We will first learn how to breathe to relax, and you will try a dry breath hold. Then, you'll have a quick theory session about the most important safety issues around freediving. The best part is when your confined / open water session lasts around 60-90 minutes. After your lunch break, you'll take your second confined/open water session to practice descending on a line, equalization, streamlining and relaxation. You'll need approximately eight hours of your day.

We require a minimum of 12 years old to participate. We have changing rooms and hot showers at your disposal!
