2-Day SSI Level 1 Freediving Course at Portrush

It's never too late to encourage yourself to try challenging adventures and experiences. Our SSI Level 1 Freediving course is the first step into safe freediving, learning the essential relaxation techniques, correct breathing, breath-holding, proper finning, streamlining and body position. You won't regret it!

It's a 2-day course worth your investment. On your first day, you'll start with a one-hour breathing and relaxation class. Then, you'll have a dry breath hold class followed by your first confined water session. It will be approximately 60-90 minutes long, and once you finish it, you'll have a lunch break. Then, you'll receive a theory class followed by your first open water session. It's a full day of pure knowledge in a fun and safe environment.

On your second day, you'll receive an additional theory class and another confined water session. After your lunch break, you'll have your last open water session. Then, you'll have your final exam, wrap-up and celebration photo!

We supply all the equipment, including an SSI certification card, room, pool, boat hire and learning manual. After your session, you'll know to free dive to 10-20m of depth. The minimum age to participate is 12 years old.
