Half-day rafting at Gave de Pau in spring

This is a half-day spent rafting, a group activity that requires determination and surpassing. It will make you discover and love your adventurous side. You will travel through the Gave de Pau, starting at Lourdes to arrive at Lestelle-Bétharram, two small towns belonging to the department of strong>Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

The descent is completed in two hours, in the spring period, when the snow melts and gives even more volume to the river, allowing the rafts to move even more quickly in water.

This is a sporty descent, which encourages the use of your sporting abilities and swimming. It is therefore advisable to know how to swim and to be in good physical condition, so that your adventure goes like clockwork.

The state qualified instructor who will accompany you will make sure of everything before going into the water with you, so no worries. He will also inform you of all the safety instructions to follow, as well as information relating to the descent and the use of the equipment during a strong>briefing addressed to all participants.

The latter will wait for you at the meeting point that he will have previously specified to you, to give you your equipment and accompany you to the place where the descent begins. You will spend 2 hours on board your boat, until your arrival in Lestelle-Bétharram.
