What is a canoe raft?
It is atype of boat which combines the stability of an inflatable raft like the raft and the maneuverability of a canoe. Smaller than a classic raft, this one is two-seater and is perfect for a partner activity or when the water level is low. We then suggest that you test yourself there during this 7 km canoe-raft descent.
On board this one, you will paddle and sailonthe Nive, a river in thePyrénées-Atlantiques, crossing theCountry Basqueand flowing into the Adour, which in turn flows into the Bay of Biscay. The Nive is best known for its landscapes, authentic villages, hills and lush vegetation along its banks.
You will travel along its part which crosses the majority of the emblematic places of the Basque Country, to take in the sight of picturesque landscapes.
On the day of your activity, we will be waiting for you at reception to receive you and provide you with your equipment, but also to give you our safety instructions. Then, thanks to a shuttle, we will go to the starting point of the activity and we will show you the basic techniques of handling the cano-raft through demonstrations carried out by a state qualified instructor.
You can then begin this day which promises to be fun and sensational.

Good to know:
- This activity is suitable for adults and young people. However, this rate is intended only for adolescents aged 12 to 17.
- It is important to bring a change of clothes and a bath towel, as it is possible to shower at our leisure center.
- You must bring closed shoes that will go into the water, but also another spare pair.
- You must bring something to hydrate yourself and something to attach your glasses to protect yourself from the sun.
- It is mandatory to know how to swim and submerge to be able to do this activity.
