This is a boat similar to the raft, but smaller in size and able to accommodate 3 to 5 passengers. Thanks to its reduced dimensions and weight, it allows you to navigate faster currents, with deeper waves for more sensations. However, the boat remains stable and very safe.
You will be free to pilot your mini raft yourself under the supervision of your instructor, who unlike the raft, this time is not with you on your boat. He ensures your safety and advises you from his own boat. Thus, you can be independent and manage the navigation of your mini raft yourself. You will anticipate your trajectories by applying the reading of the river that you will have learned with your instructor before getting on your mini raft, during the briefing. Steering your boat will test your team cohesion.
This is a golden opportunity for all those dreaming of a first secure and sensationalnavigationexperience in complete autonomy. Children can participate in this activity from 12 years old. This corresponds to the size and physical effort required.
We provide you with all the technical equipment including a protective helmet, a buoyancy aid, a full neoprene suit and apaddle simple. You will need to bring a swimsuit and a towel, a pair of closed shoes, a sunglasses clip if necessary and sunscreen. We provide you with changing rooms and showers, but also a picnic area with tables and barbecues.
Our activity takes place on the Nive in the Basque Country in Bidarray. We are less than an hour from Biarritz, St Jean Pied de Port and Espelette.
