Adult Half Day Raft Building Session at Backbarrow

To navigate across rivers and canals is always a good idea to enjoy some time outdoors, and even better when you build your own rafting and try to make it work. Join our half-day raft building session where you will engage with your team a whole experience working first to create your own raft and enjoy a journey at Backbarrow, Cumbria.

For half a day, you will be working on different skills and plans to have a successfully rafting experience. This activity will start by meeting with the instructor at the venue, getting equipped with proper apparel, specific guidance and brainstorming for you to build your raft. Later on, you will come up with a plan, and together with your team, you will start building your raft and launch it whenever it is ready. During the session, you will practice how to manoeuvre properly and coordinate your team to navigate successfully.

In the end, the instructor will set you all in different races to have some fun and an exciting time. Please know that the price here is only for adults (18 years and above), and we provide all the equipment needed for rafting, safety equipment, waterproof cag, and a wetsuit. We are all set to go; bring warm clothes, extra apparel, a towel, and a bag to put wet clothes (not including parking fee and eventual meals).

Longer activities mean more fun, that is why; we offer this full-day rafting experience in which every participant will be part of a process where firstly, you will build from nothing your raft, to, later on, navigate on it across the waters of the district of Cumbria. We are located in Backbarrow, and we can assure you that this plan won't disappoint you.

During a day, you will be working as a team to build the best possible idea because at the end of the session, you will race against other people, and we are sure you will want to win. The main point of this activity is to promote creativity, teamwork, building skills, coordination, and any other you might think of it will help you. Please be aware that this price is exclusively for adults (18 years and older).

The meeting point will be at our venue; over there, you will get the safety briefing and introduction to rafting with some tips to navigate the right way. As mentioned before, you will start this experience by learning a few basic stuff and building your raft; after that, you will navigate and, at some point, race other teams. Included you have all the rafting and safety equipment, wetsuit, waterproof cag, and the guidance of a staff member at all times (parking and meals are not included). Please bring extra clothes for after the session, waterproof apparel, and a bag to put all the wet stuff.
