- You will go down 14 km by rafting, you should allow around 2 hours 30 minutes for the activity. However, think about the preparation time in advance.
Deal overview
The journey takes place on the Aude. We will meet you at our center in the town of Axat, about an hour and a few from Perpignan and Carcassonne. Our instructor will be happy to welcome you. He will brief you on the activity and then a shuttle will be waiting for you to take you and the rest of your group to the starting point of the descent. This same shuttle will take you back to our base at the end of your rafting trip.
The descent takes place on 14 km of river. It will therefore take you approximately 2 or 2.5 hours to make the descent. You will be in a team of 4 to 8 on your inflatable boat. Your guide will be at the back of the raft, he will have the role of helmsman to steer the boat. For your part, you will need to be skillful and demonstrate excellent team cohesion to balance your raft on the waves of the course of water. The rapids and the stunts are yours for extraordinary sensations! You're going to have a blast.
rafting is a water sport that may seem impressive and intense, but don't worry, we can assure you that it is an activity without risks. In addition, you will be protected thanks to a helmet and life jacket provided by us. It's the perfect opportunity to experience a moment of pure happiness without danger.
You are all welcome from 13 years old. However, it is still mandatory to know how to swim and you will need to be physically fit to carry out this experience. In addition to protective equipment, we will provide you with a wetsuit and a paddle. For your part, all you need to bring is a swimsuit, a pair of safe tennis shoes and a towel to dry off at the end of the activity.
