Almost anyone can use paddleboarding equipment, but to get the most out of this sport you need to build up your skills and acquire some specific knowledge. We want to help you progress towards this goal, so sign up for an intermediate SUP coaching day.
In this 5-hour course, we’ll take you further from the shore, into more challenging conditions and on longer journeys than you’ll have been before. All of this takes place with the supervision and coaching of our expert watersports guides.
This course is for adults who are already familiar with SUP and can stand up confidently on a board, though you don’t need to have your own equipment. We will follow the British Canoeing syllabus and we can award you with a certificate at the end of the day based on performance and for an additional fee.
We work and paddle on the River Leam in Royal Leamington Spa. It’s a beautiful river with a course that varies in difficulty as it winds through the city and into the countryside. That makes it perfect for developing more advanced planning, rescue, and paddling abilities.
