Deal overview
For anyone who’s interested in paddleboarding, or who’s tried it before and not quite got the hang of it, we recommend this discovery day. It’s a 5-hour course designed to introduce you to the sport in a comprehensive way so that, just like us, you can fall in love with it.
We’ll go over all the basics, including the fundamental balance and paddling skills, safety and rescue techniques and SUP equipment. We’ll give you the chance to use different kinds of boards so that you understand the main disciplines of the sport.
The coaching will take place on dry land, but mostly on the water. Our centre in Leamington Spa is perfect for this because we’re right on the bank of the River Leam.
The course is led by experienced watersports guides. If you’re interested, we can arrange for a British Canoeing Paddle Discover award certificate to be made up for you at a small additional fee.
