Welcome to our advanced introductory course to learn Stand Up Paddle Surf. In 1 hour and 45 minutes we will have enough time to establish practical theoretical concepts about this sport so that we can then enter the water more safely.

Firstly, the instructor will give us some basic notions, we will know the main modalities of SUP, the waves, how the wind can influence the experience and how to react to the natural elements. We will also learn to paddle the board correctly and without losing balance, how to turn while controlling the weight we exert on the board, etc.

In summary, the courses consist of the following subjects to be covered:

Initiation about waves, types and how the wind influences.
The use of the leash in Paddle Surf.
How to choose the performance area based on the waves.
Position to take initially with the oar.
Position to take when we expect to catch a wave.
Synchronization of the subject with the wave.
Use of the wave to our advantage to advance or turn.
Use of the paddle when there are waves.
Turning maneuvers when there are waves using the position of the body and the paddle at that moment.
Precautions to take into account the dangers that may arise while SUP.
