10 things to do in Malaga

To say that Malaga has everything is not enough. With a radiant sun almost all year round over those beautiful coasts facing the Mediterranean and the protection that surrounds the woodlands that surround the region, it always maintains mild temperatures that will allow you to fulfill your plans smoothly. By land, with its buggies on the roads of the Guadalhorce, by air over the mountains, or by sea on any boat, you will always have an original idea to suit you:

1. Drive a Segway in Gibralfaro:



Ascend and reach the top of a fortress from the XIV century to contemplate a complete panoramic of the whole capital of Malaga. These are views you can’t miss, but to get there, you will need to walk up for a little bit. That’s why, the Segway is the best option to reach the top without getting tired and, at the same time, have fun with a fast and curious electric vehicle. Whilst in the route, also look for the Alcazaba Castle that can be found in the middle of the route, as part of this historical ensemble.

2. Go kayaking through the Nerja, Maro and Cerro Gordo cliffs:



The coast of Malaga that cuts the sea provides spectacular waterfalls, like La Doncella, small coves like Caletilla de Maro and cavities like the Lobo Cave. You can explore all those places with a kayak adventure, departing from the Burriana beach, that can be also enjoyed by kids with the age of 6 and up.

3. Tuk Tuk touristic trip through Mijas:



Move through the Sol coast whilst enjoying the enchantment of this Asian motorized vehicle that will take you to the main monuments of the city. The schedules include stops in the bullring or the Muralla Gardens, also special places like the panoramic viewpoints that are on top of the city.

4. Oil tourism in the Axarquía village:



Next to the wine, Malaga’s olive oil have won prizes. Visit one of our traditional windmills that produce it in El Borge, participating in activities that include a tour through the wineries and vineyards od the zone. You will also have the opportunity of tasting both products during a final tasting session with an expert that will be explaining the characteristics and qualities.

5. Ride a horse through the beach of Los Álamos in Torremolinos:



If an equestrian route is always special, to do it just like a tv commercial, by riding next to the sea, is incredible. Seize the sunrise or sunset to cross the El Cañuelo beach whilst on a horseback of one the noblest animals ever.

6. Become a pirate in an escape room in Malaga:



Finally, you have found the treasure that been hidden by the three most feared pirates of the oceans. However, getting out with your riches will not be so easy. You will achieve it if you manage to solve the enigma that will arise before the clock reaches 60 minutes.

7. Visit the Bioparc zoo in Fuengirola:



Visit one of the main ecosystems in the world without exiting the same place. In this zoo, habitats just like those found in Southeast Asia, Equatorial Africa or Madagascar are recreated for species like the lemur, red panda or the Komodo dragon to feel at home. You will find hundreds and hundreds of them, belonging to the entire animal kingdom.

8. Paratriking over Ronda:



Discover from air one of the most amazing and representative cities of the region. Thanks to the tandem paramotor, you will see completely the famous Tajo de Ronda bridge, saving an imposing gorge to unite the two sides of the town. The takeoff area is located in the Llanos de Aguaya, just outside.

9. Enjoy a romantic afternoon in a sailboat in Estepona:



Reward yourself and your loved one with a navigation from the Sports Port whilst making a toast with champagne and eating a delicious dinner for two on board. If you don’t have a significant other, do not worry, because, surely, you have a lot of friends that can love this plan.

10. Board a Jeep in the Sierra of Grazalema:



Let yourself go with an all-terrain vehicle throughout the national park that ends in the region of Cadiz. You will start the tour in Montecorto and you will spot the Morrocan Rif summits on the horizon, next to lakes and rivers. Stay attentive because you can even spot vultures or deer, eating freely.
