The nautical activities center of the commune of Eclaron Breaucourt Saint Livière in Haute-Marne offers you some for rental strong> every day from April to October.
It provides you with different boards (more or less wide, inflatable or rigid) to find the one that best suits your size and that of your loved one. However, all the boards are easy to use and they are wide enough for two people to ride comfortably.
After a briefing by one of the center's certified instructors, you will put on a safety vest and you will each collect a paddle and your double board. For an hour, you can stroll on the water at your own pace or do a more sporty session as long as you coordinate your movements well with those of your buddy.

The Lac du Der is in fact an artificial lake built during the first part of the 20th century in order to cope with the rising waters of the Seine. It is located on the site where there were several villages which were then destroyed and whose ruins can be observed a few meters deep under the lake. These are the villages of Nuisement, Chantecoq and Champaubert; whose church is still visible today from the lake...
