Would you like to get started in the sport of kitesurfing but don't know where to start? We have an initiation program that we will carry out on the Les Botigues beach, in Castelldefels.
Our team of professionals will teach you everything you need to know to practice this sport first on land in this first module. Once you demonstrate your mastery on land, you can start practicing in the water (second module, which is contracted independently).
This introductory course to land-based kitesurfing is ideal to learn what this sport consists of. The most important points to cover in this first course will be:
- Meteorology and safety aspects: so as not to go out and practice it without knowing what the weather will be like.
- Theory and concepts about the so-called wind window: this point is important since without controlling this, you will not be able to carry out the activity.
- Assembly of the equipment: so as not to always need the help of a monitor.
- Flights on land: to prepare you safely and little by little to do the same, but in the water.
This kitesurfing training module will last 3 hours. If once completed you are interested in continuing, ask us for information about the second module.
What does the activity include
- Complete protective equipment to carry out the activity and necessary material.
- Certified kitesurf teacher.
When your activity starts and finishes
In the summer time, classes are only allowed to be taught between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The rest of the year, depending on availability.
