We’ll guide you between the reeded banks of the channels of the Norfolk Broads in an area that’s far removed from the busy parts of the broads. In the morning, when the light on the water is beautiful there are even fewer water users around.
It’s also a great time to see some local wildlife. On these 2.5-hour trips we always see (or hear) multiple bird species - including avocets, marsh harriers and bearded tits - and sometimes aquatic mammals too!
At our meeting point, we’ll give you life jackets, dry bags then assign you to a kayak. We have single and double kayaks on offer. Then we’ll set off along the waterways of the broads to the expanse of Hickling Broad, where we’ll take a break by the waterside for a cup of hot coffee or tea and a pastry.
Our qualified guides can take children as young as eight years old on these trips, provided they’re accompanied by an adult.
