The location of choice for this kayaking lesson is Keel Lake, which overlooks the breathtaking Slieve Mor and the magnificent Minaun Sea Cliffs, giving you special sights to gaze at in awe as you paddle, something not many locations have.

While Keel Lake is a safe location for kayaking, we apply several safety measures into the session, including conducting a safety briefing beforehand and equipping you with all the specialist equipment, including a wetsuit and a buoyancy aid.

We will also give you a paddle and a kayak that fits your experience level and needs.

It is important to note that this is a 90-minute session and is only open to juniors. We also have an equivalent option for adults.

Located on Ireland's biggest Island and a true jewel of Co. Mayo, Achill Island, Keel boasts tremendous views of the island's highest peak, Slieve Mor and the Minaun Sea Cliffs.

Guiding you to the lake's top sights and taking your kayaking skills to the next level will be one of our qualified instructors, all of which are incredibly dedicated to creating a safe environment for you to have a fun time that you won't forget and to sharpen your techniques to give you an immense confidence boost on the water.

Whatever the group's abilities, we can adapt and cater to your needs; for example, we have different kayaks for paddlers of all standards, so there a sit on top kayaks for novices and more advanced play boats for those with more experience.

You will have 90 minutes to explore the breathtaking Keel Lake, and you won't believe how much you will see and learn, like how to capsize properly and paddle efficiently.

In addition to supplying full tuition and a kayak, we will provide you with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and all the necessary specialist equipment.
