Derwent Water, is considered one of the most stunning lakes in the area, surrounded by the beautiful hills of Borrowdale, Cat Bells and Skiddaw, along with many coves, islands and more to explore, you won't regret embarking on an adventure here with us and what better to do it than in a kayak?

Located only a 15-minute drive from Keswick, you can meet up with our experienced instructors and join us for a relaxing three-hour adventure that is also great for exercise, an unlikely but unique combination.

Our expert instructors tailor everything to your needs, starting with a safety briefing before the session and the supply of well-fitting equipment for the journey ahead. Once everyone feels comfortable, secure and prepared, we will get the session underway.

You will learn some essential skills and explore more interesting areas of the lake under the expert guidance of our instructors, but we will also ensure you are having fun and are entertained for the duration, so there will be lots of games, challenges and some jumps of jetties into the lakes if you don't mind getting wet.

The fun aspect makes this perfect for family outings and team-building events, but if you want to build a strong foundation of skills for future kayaking adventures, we can mould the session to your liking and focus more on teaching you various skills.

This session is only suitable for those ten and older; also, canoeing would be more suitable for you if you are more than 14 stone or taller than 6 feet.
