10Min Family Karting session in Ernesettle (8yrs+)

Here’s an opportunity for family bonding that’s fast, fun and weather-proof.

It’s indoor karting. We run sessions at our motorsports venue in the Ernesettle area of Plymouth that are reserved for young racers and their parents.

We have 2 sizes of cadet karts. To ride the 160 cc karts, children must be at least 8 years old and 125 cm tall. Once they’re 12, they can transition to 200 cc models. For adults, there are larger go-karts on offer.

We provide safety equipment, which includes a helmet, race suit and neck brace. Every participant will need a balaclava, which you can bring with you or buy on site for a small fee. Closed-toe shoes like trainers are essential.

The session starts with a safety briefing and instructions, delivered by a trained member of the team, then you and your group will have 10 minutes’ track time.

Settle those sibling rivalries once and for all with this perfect karting package, aimed at families of 3 or 4 (maximum 2 adults). The minimum age is 8 years old and the child/adult cut-off point is 16.

This package includes 3 races, which are separate 10-minute sessions on the track. The experience also includes a briefing and kitting up session, so you will be at our indoor circuit in Plymouth for an hour or more.

To make sure that everyone has an even chance, we provide karts of all shapes and sizes. The smallest are designed for kids aged 8 - 12 (and at least 125 cm tall), there’s a separate model for teens and two options for adults.

Every member of the family needs to wear closed-toe shoes and bring or buy a balaclava. We will supply helmets, race suits and neck braces.
