Do you want to enjoy an adventure on the Costa Dorada on one of the most people-friendly animals? Well, don't hesitate to come and enjoy a fun horseback riding route through the natural landscapes of Ruimar. A one-hour excursion where you will get to know in depth the landscapes, fauna and flora of the Ebro Delta.

You will meet the guide in the Riumar area, very close to the Club Náutico. There, they will help you find the perfect horse for each one and will give you a brief talk about how to treat the animals and how to respect the fantastic natural environment of Deltebre.

The route will run along the banks of the Ebro River and depending on the time of year, you may cross large rice fields. The monitor will reveal some curiosities about the growing media in the area and about different plants and animals that you can find along the way.

In addition, during the horseback route you will visit the Ebro Delta Natural Park, which may be the most important water habitat, not only in Catalonia strong>, but of the entire western Mediterranean. Among the many hundreds of native species that you can find there, are the flamingo, the shoveler, the European wigeon and different species of heron.

The area also has parking, a picnic area and a viewpoint, in case you want to spend more time there at the end of the horseback excursion.
