We are in Monte da Marra, in our equestrian center surrounded by nature and cork oak sanctuaries. Our horses are trained so that the rides are calm and relaxed so you can enjoy the wonders that this area of Melides offers.
Specifically, you will take a walk of 1 hour and 45 minutes along Praia da Vigia, a 5 km long beach located in the Melides Lagoon. You will be able to observe the views of Serra de Grândola from the incredible golden sand and admire the Atlantic from one of our beautiful horses.
At the end of the horse ride, we will return to our equestrian center where you will have the opportunity to do a tasting of 3 wines produced in Heredade do Cebolal:
- Heredade do Cebolal blanco: made from dryland vineyards that are more than 25 years old. It is produced with Fernão Pires, Roupeiro and Arinto. A wine with citrus and delicate aromas; very typical of the Atlantic coast area.
- Finca rosada Cebolal: a salmon-colored wine, with aromas of strawberry and roses; sweet, with a sensation of dryness and balanced freshness. Made with Touriga Nacional and Aragonês.
- Heredade do Cebolal rojo: produced with Castelão, Aragonês and Alicante Bouchet. It ages in French oak barrels for 6 months and is characterized by its liveliness, personality and elegance.
