You will meet the instructor in the port of Sesimbra and, before starting the expedition, he will give a talk informing you about the route and giving some tips to better handle the paddle; thus having more control and reducing the chances of capsizing the boat.
Kayaks are wider and more stable than conventional canoes, so they will become the ideal option if you plan to come with the little ones in the house. This is an activity that entails virtually no risk, since the worst thing that can happen to you is that you get wet when you fall out of the kayak.
During the route we will pass through the Sesimbra Bay and, unless there is a rip or the sea is rough and as long as the weather conditions are not too adverse, you will be lucky enough to paddle through the waters that bathe the Luiz Saldanha Marine Park, in the Arrábida Natural Park.
Before finishing this fun route with the kayaks we will stop at Ribeira do Cavalo, one of the most famous beaches in all of Portugal, where in addition to relaxing and taking a swim, you will be invited to a snack /strong> as an aperitif.
