The day you book this horse ride we will meet at our equestrian center, this is located in the municipality of Marvão. One of our qualified instructors will be waiting for you here, great riders whose passion is to teach all their knowledge to others.
This will give a briefing to explain the timing and the basic horse riding notions that you need to know to get on the back of these beautiful animals. Once we have completed this training we will equip ourselves with the necessary material and we will choose the horse that best suits us, they are all very calm and accustomed to close contact with humans.
This horseback route will begin heading towards the border of the country, passing through Gallegos, we will cross the mountains to reach San Pedro de los Majarretes here We will visit the convent and testament of Piedra, monuments that are a must-see and famous throughout the country. To finish we will visit La Miera where we will find 2 dolmens more than 7000 years old.
In the middle of this tour we will have a picnic in which we will enjoy typical delicacies from the area.
