We offer private riding lessons at our stables in the village of Buckley, near the England-Wales border. It’s a happy place to be, with comfortable stables for the horses and an outdoor menage for teaching and learning.
We can welcome riders of all abilities. We will teach you the basics, starting with groundwork if necessary, top beginners, and can help experienced riders develop their riding styles.
Our aim here is to teach riders to work together with horses so that both use their natural attributes to help the other. We will need to know some information about you (including weight) before the lesson so expect us to be in contact.
We ask that you come dressed for the time of year and the weather forecast. Please wear long trousers/jodhpurs/similar even in the summer.
We look forward to introducing you to our horses.

Group Horse Riding Lesson in Burntwood, 30min
Deal overview
Our group lessons are capped at a maximum of 6 riders at a time. This means that there is time and space for everyone - and every horse - to benefit from the session.
Riders of all ability levels an ages can sign up for lessons with us. Even though this is a group lesson, we will treat you as an individual and include some one-on-one tuition.
We have a fantastic bunch of horses and ponies and we look after them to the highest standards. None of them will take part in lessons more than twice a day, so you know that you’ll be working with an eager horse.
Our stables, which have an outdoor menage for lessons, are in the Burntwood area of Buckley, Flintshire. We’re easily accessible to horse loves coming from Wrexham, Chester and beyond!
