You can arrange a private half-hour lesson for your son or daughter with us. We welcome children from four up to sixteen years old to meet our horses and have a chance to go riding.
Our horses are great with children. We choose them carefully and give them lots of training to give them the best temperament. You’ll be happy to let your child get into the saddle, whether it’s their first time or their fiftieth!
Our Ashdown Forest location is ideal for reconnecting with nature, and engaging in an ancient activity like horse riding is a fantastic experience for children’s physical and mental development.
Your little one will need to wear long trousers and boots with a heel. Wellies are okay but not ideal. The stables are fully equipped, we have a floodlit outdoor arena and even a horse treadmill on site. Our weight limit requirement is 15 stones for each participant.
