This personalised half-hour lesson is the perfect antidote to Blue Mondays, the urban rat race and the daily grind. We live and work in the open landscape of Ashdown Forest, a haven for humans, animals and good vibes. 

The horses themselves are handpicked and carefully trained to work with riders of all kinds with patience and aplomb. Whether you’re a beginner, an improver or something of an expert, you’ll find what you’re looking for here.

Our trained instructors emphasise the fundamentals of horse riding to make sure that riders of any level can make solid progress. Of course, we also believe in putting the fun in fundamental!

We have fully equipped stables, a treadmill for horses and an outdoor, floodlit arena at our school. We supply all riding tack and a riding hat to all visitors, so you just need to wear long trousers and boots with a heel or wellingtons. Our weight limit requirement is 15 stones for each participant.

We tailor these private sessions to you. Our experienced instructors have a wealth of knowledge to draw on that guarantees that you’ll become more confident and skilled on horseback. And we have the horses to match! Well-behaved, healthy and happy horses are our speciality - they’re the real stars of the show!
