Pay us a visit and ride around the farm on horseback. This is an equestrian experience that’s designed for inexperienced riders and can also be adapted to accommodate people with disabilities.
We’ll take a leisurely ride around the farm which houses our riding school, Lower Pendavey Farm. It’s a traditional Cornish farm set in the green and rolling landscape between Camelford and the north coast.
The route takes about 30 minutes to complete and takes in views of the stables, farm buildings and meadows. It will be led by a member of our qualified riding instructor team.
We want to make this ride perfect for every participant. We will ask for your weight and riding level to choose the right horse, go over safety procedures before setting off and can offer the experience as a lead-rein ride, in which an instructor on foot leads the horse.

Horse Hacking Session at Lower Pendavey Farm 1.5h
Deal overview
Come hacking on horseback with us. We ride out from our equestrian centre in the beautiful North Cornish landscape, set between Camelford and the dramatic coastline around Tintagel.
Our hacks are led by qualified instructors. They will be responsible for matching each rider with a horse, explaining the rules and safety procedures and guiding the group en route.
The riding time for this hack is 1.5 hours. In total, you will spend a bit more than that with us because there will be some time spent preparing to ride and taking off the equipment at the end.
We have access to an extensive network of trails and bridleways right from the stables. Our hacks are suitable for riders of all ages, levels and abilities. Be prepared to supply information on your weight before the activity.
