Deal overview
Discover the Monument Natural Los Barruecos, one of the most impressive natural landscapes in Cáceres. But you won't visit it on foot, since we have a much more interesting alternative: with ahorseback route.
We will walk along the banks of its large ponds, from where we can observe the enormous granite bowls that make up its landscape. In addition, we will spot some of the most important and significant birds of prey in the area, such as griffon and black vultures, kites and eagles. We will also be able to see the storks, the most representative bird of the area, and learn how they build their nests.
Whether you are a beginner at horseback riding, or if you are a true riding fan, this route will leave you impressed. Throughout the activity you will be accompanied by instructors and expert guides who will give you the keys to the route, as well as some basic notions for you to ride a horse, making it a excursion that practically anyone can attend.
As a finishing touch, and taking advantage of the location of the route, you cannot miss the Vostell Museum and the Interpretation Center of the town, where you can see samples of post-war contemporary art.

The tour was very well organized and took place in an environment of fantastic landscapes around a lagoon. The activity coordinator was also impeccable and very attentive. The horses were very well trained. We really enjoyed the experience! -

The ride was great. David, he was our instructor and was a charm at all times. The walk was entertaining and we learned a lot about animals in the area. The horses are in semi-freedom when they are not on the rides and it was something that I really liked. I would repeat without hesitation. -
