Hiking magical mountain range of Nopala and Cuixicala 8H

Take a walk of approximately 7 kilometers, touring the indigenous towns of Nopala and Cuixicala in Huauchinango, which means "place surrounded by trees", a magnificent place that will surprise you with its energy, gastronomy, art and culture. of this magical town. We will meet in the morning at an agreed point in Huauchinango and we will travel to the pre-Hispanic mound of Nopaltzin where we will make an offering and a stretching ritual. Later, we will go along the path where the Aztecs previously passed, coming from the altepetl of Texcoco.

Minutes later, we will arrive at the cloud forest, where you can observe and listen to birds of different species. Upon reaching the top of the Netlatitepetl mountain, we will observe from above the magic that this pre-Hispanic trail offers us, with natural viewpoints to take many photographs.

We will visit the Necaxa Dam and the Tecnango Dam of the Sierra Madre to admire their incredible landscapes that will surprise you with their beauty and the energy they give us. Enjoy the calm that the sounds of falling water will cause.

We will also visit different sacred hills of the native peoples, such as the Cerro del Idol and the Cuaxicala Codex where our specialized guides will tell you the history and legends of each place. At the end we will provide you with a meal to share and have a pleasant moment.
