Convince your family and take this excursion together to the Xitle volcano, which is located in Ajusco. We will complement the walk, exploring caves and volcanic caverns, which will surely cause you a lot of curiosity. It is worth mentioning that this option includes round transportation from Mexico City.
We will be guided by experts on these journeys, we will provide you with protective equipment and tools for the expedition. A high level of physical fitness is not necessary for this walk, as it will be a calm walk. We will walk from the slopes of the volcano, until we reach the summit at 3,850 meters above sea level and tour its crater.
We will descend towards its slopes again to begin exploring the caves. These caves were formed thanks to the last eruption of this volcano which was approximately 1600 years ago. This place has magic, so each participant will be fascinated by the landscapes and the entire atmosphere that surrounds this site.
During the expedition, we will provide you with snacks or lunch so that we are at full strength and maintain the best attitude. We suggest bringing comfortable clothing that is not denim or cotton, preferably nylon or synthetic fibers. For greater safety, bring shoes that do not have flat soles and that cover the ankles.
