Its highest summit has a height above sea level of 5,250 meters. During our tour you will be able to contemplate spectacular landscapes and you will walk through all types of terrain, in addition, you will live the experience of walking on one of the only glaciers that They remain in Mexico.
Our departure will be at noon, arriving at the Izta Popo Park we will do a first acclimatization walk until we reach the La Joya camp where we will have dinner and rest to begin the ascent at midnight and thus reach the summit. 9am. You will enjoy a fantastic sunrise during the journey.
We will return to La Joya base camp and eat some delicious quesadillas to take our way back to Mexico City.
We include all the necessary safety and protection equipment, which consists of a helmet, crampons, ice ax and lamp.
We will provide you with prior advice on walking foods, hydration and recommendations for clothing, footwear and backpacks to use that day. This tour is recommended for people between 14 and 55 years old who are in excellent physical condition.
