Alpine hiking with guide to Izta-Popo 8 hours

This guided walking excursion is an organized departure from the city of Puebla to the Izta-Popo National Park. The entire journey will be directed by a specialized mountaineering guide who offers you this medium-mountain route, offering you the best fun and safety.

The walking time will be between 3 and 4 hours so the level of difficulty will be intermediate. We will begin this day of hiking at the Paso de Cortés access where the guide will give us a brief explanation about what we will do and interesting facts about the two mountains. At this site we will be at a height of 3500 meters and it is where we will carry out acclimatization.

We will travel by vehicle to "La Joyita" at an altitude of 3900 meters and this is where we will begin our walk through the Los Portillos route. At all times we will monitor your condition and we will advance according to how you feel, in total there are 3 gates reaching a maximum height of 4524 meters above sea level.

As we have told you, walking itself, we will spend about 4 hours with a margin depending on the group, we also call it alpine hiking because our guide will explain the type of flora and fauna that we are going to find on the way, since it is a special system as it is a mountain that is usually snowy, the ecosystem is different.

On the journey we will reach a viewpoint from which we will be able to contemplate very different views of the mountains, so we recommend that you bring a camera with you.
